Image files

Most ImgShrink tools process selected image files locally in your browser. Images are not uploaded for ordinary compression, conversion, resizing, metadata inspection, EXIF removal, color sampling, batch processing or dimension calculation.

Upload Requirements tools upload the selected image for temporary server processing. Source files, generated results and short-lived processing records are kept only for the short retention period and are not used for training, public display or permanent image history.

Public URL checkers read the URL you enter, public HTML and public image or icon resources. ImgShrink does not save the checked URL, fetched HTML, images or report history for these tools.

Technical data

Like most websites, hosting and security infrastructure may receive basic request data such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamps. This data is used for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.

Browser-based image tools do not need an account or image history to work.

Advertising and analytics

ImgShrink may use privacy-conscious analytics or advertising in the future. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's advertising policies and user controls.

Ads or analytics do not require selected image files to be uploaded for these browser-based tools.
