ImgShrink

Privacy Policy

ImgShrink is designed so image processing happens in your browser. This policy explains what that means and what may still be collected by normal website infrastructure.

Updated September 3, 2026

Image files

ImgShrink's live tools process selected image files locally in your browser. The current product does not upload your images to ImgShrink servers for compression, conversion or resizing.

The site does not provide user accounts or server-side storage for image history. If a future feature changes this, the feature and policy must clearly say so before launch.

Technical data

Like most websites, hosting and security infrastructure may receive basic request data such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamps. This data is used for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.

The current application does not require a database for MVP image tools.

Advertising and analytics

ImgShrink may use privacy-conscious analytics or advertising in the future. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's advertising policies and user controls.

Advertising must not change the promise that selected image files are processed locally by the browser.

Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page. Do not send sensitive images or private files through a contact message.
