The tool decodes the source image and exports a new canvas image, which removes common EXIF, GPS and XMP metadata from the downloaded copy.

Because this is a browser export, the result is practical for everyday sharing but should not be described as forensic erasure.

JPG output is practical for photos and uses a white background for transparency.
PNG output can preserve sharp graphics but may be larger.
Animated images export as a still image.

The browser controls image decoding and export support. Some browsers may not export AVIF or may flatten unsupported transparency.
